  Tolou-e-Kavir (Dawn of desert)

Shahram Ghluami is a young Oud player. Here he has recorded over 40 minutes of solo short pieces, as opposed to radif playing, for Oud. According to Ghulami in the liner notes, his inspiration has been nature and Persian folk tales. The liner notes also explain that Oud (Al-Oud) is the Arabic version of Persian instrument Barbat. Al-Oud is also considered to be the same as the Western Lute.
